ATTORNEYS
Tiffany D. Tant-Shafer
Tiffany D. Tant-Shafer graduated with Dean's Honors from Washburn University School of Law in 2003 and received her LL.M. in intellectual property from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2004. She has worked in the legal profession for 13 years and practiced law in Missouri for over 5 years, focusing on family law and domestic violence cases. Before joining the Law Office of Craig Ritchie in April 2009, Mrs. Tant-Shafer worked as a domestic attorney with Legal Aid of Western Missouri. In addition to her practice, she taught Legal Research, Analysis and Writing as an Adjunct Professor with the Legal Studies Department at Missouri Western State University for three years. She resides in St. Joseph with her husband, Chad, and enjoys travelling. Mrs. Tant-Shafer is a 2007 graduate of Step Up to Leadership, a 2009 graduate of Leadership St. Joseph and presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of St. Joseph and the St. Joseph Performing Arts Association.
JENNIFER L. SOPER
Jennifer L. Soper is a 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia Law School. She has practiced family law in St. Joseph for over 10 years. From 2003 to 2010, she was the Managing Attorney of the St. Joseph office of Legal Aid of Western Missouri. In addition to practicing law, she is an Adjunct Professor in the Legal Studies Department of Missouri Western State University where she teaches family law. She resides in St. Joseph with her husband, Jason, who is also an attorney, and their two children. Mrs. Soper has been a member of the Junior League of St. Joseph since 2002 and serves on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater St. Joseph and the Cathedral Early Childhood Center. She is a 2004 graduate of Leadership St. Joseph and the 2010 recipient of the YWCA Women of Excellence Emerging Leader Award.

ANNE-MARIE BENSON
Anne-Marie Benson graduated from Missouri Western State University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, emphasis in Legal Studies. She was also awarded her Paralegal Certificate at that time. Ms. Benson started her employment in the legal field as a paralegal in 2007, and came to work for as a paralegal with the Law Office of Craig D. Ritchie in April 2009. She is currently a paralegal and office assistant in the St. Joseph office.
SABRINA L. WAKE
Sabrina L. Wake graduated in 1999 from Penn Valley Community College with an Associate Degree in Paralegal. In 2001, she graduated from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Legal Studies. Mrs. Wake resides with her husband, Chad, and two sons in Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Wake began working as a paralegal for Mr. Ritchie in 1998. She is currently working in the Liberty office as a paralegal and office manager.
MINDY J. GARTON
Mindy J. Garton has worked as a legal assistant and paralegal since 2001. In 2006, she graduated from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, with an emphasis in Legal Studies, and with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is currently a paralegal in the St. Joseph office. Mrs. Garton resides in Cameron with her husband and their three children and serves as a member of the Domestic Violence Task Force in Cameron. When not at work, Mrs. Garton can be found at home with her family or at any number of sports activities with their active children.
JULIE TANNEHILL
Julie Tannehill graduated from Missouri Western State University in 1995 with an Associates Degree in Legal Studies. She subsequently completed her studies at Missouri Western State University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Legal Studies in 1996. Since that time, Ms. Tannehill has been a practicing paralegal, working in various areas of the law including personal injury and employment law, as well as municipal matters while working in the Legal Department for the City of St. Joseph. Ms. Tannehill has been working as a family law paralegal in the St. Joseph Law Office of Craig Ritchie since 2005 and is a life-long resident of St. Joseph.
